Description
Geoffroy's tamarin is a small monkey found in Panama and Colombia. It is also known as a Panamanian, red-crested or rufous-naped tamarin. It has reddish black and white fur on its back and long tail, is pale underneath, and has a white triangular patch on its forehead that contrasts with its dark face. It eats mainly fruit and insects. This particular wild monkey was photographed in Gamboa, Panama, Central America on the limb of a tree in the rainforest.
