Artist's Description
This gray-capped flycatcher was photographed in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, Central America. It is a medium-sized bird in the flycatcher family with a grey head, white throat, and bright yellow chest and belly. It can be found throughout Central America and parts of South America. It favors agricultural land and eats berries, seeds, and insects. This is one of many birds that can be seen at the Arenal Observatory Lodge in Arenal Volcano National Park.
