This ancestral home in the mountain village of Dipignano, Calabria, Italy, gives the impression that the lifestyle of people in these rural areas has not changed much over the years. The old wooden door, wicker furniture (probably handmade) and jug on the window ledge are reminders of a simpler, more relaxed life where the neighbors took care of each other and people lived off the land. Their wealth was in their closeknit community, fresh mountain air, work ethic, and healthy lifestyle.
