Description
The Montreal Biosphere is a museum of the environment. This geodesic dome was originally designed by architect Buckminster Fuller for Expo 67. In 1995, it became a museum showcasing environmental issues related to water, particularly the Great Lakes Saint Lawrence River region. The Biosphere has appeared in numerous television programs as well. It is located in Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Sainte-Hélène, near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Here it was photographed at night illuminated with various colours and reflecting on the water.
